  • Intuitive controls, fast-paced action, looks great
  • Long recovery time after crashing, no vehicle upgrades
  • A beautiful, in-depth racing experience, MotorStorm delivers on all fronts while remaining a damn fun game to boot. ...

  • Abstract:  If you were lucky youd also see the driver catapulting across the landscape. So, too, with Pacific Rift. It has more of the same madhouse, flat-out and bump-and-grind racing. Taking the correct line is the key to victory and the wrong line inevitably...

  • Spectacular intro visuals. Solid online mode. Achieves everything the original didn’t.
  • Seems like a ‘safe’ sequel. Framerate drops when the action is full on.

  • Abstract:  When Motorstorm first debuted along with the PS3 here in NZ, many people didn’t quite know how to react. The console was new, we were blinded by Sony’s bright lights and flashy marketing jargon and Motorstorm looked fantastic. However, the difficulty l...

  • MotorStorm Pacific Rift is the PS3’s most dramatic and beautiful racing game. Sure, it’s a little similar to the last one, but the range of tracks, modes and options culminate in a nearperfect iteration of a quality racing franchise. 9.3/10Pri...

  • Short races, graphics, easy to pick up and play, online racing
  • No customisation, races are short
  • While this style of racing wont appeal to the F1 style driver, Burnout Paradise drivers looking for a bit of rough and tumble should definitely check this out...

  • Great off-road racing, large number of vehicles to choose from, impressive multiplayer package, top-notch visuals
  • Dull background score, no vehicle customization
  • The original Motorstorm was unlucky; it was a good game but riddled with issues. I call it unlucky because the game was released in a hurry to meet the PS3 launch deadline, making it a good launch title but still falling short on promises. This time ar...
