  • The only significant criticism we can make of Sports Champions is its limited number of sporting events. That said, having six sporting events that are nailed as well as they are in Sports Champions is infinitely preferable to ten sloppily designed one...

  • Abstract:  First, the obvious: Sports Champions is basically Wii Sports (or rather Wii Sports Resort) for PlayStation Move. But that's not necessarily a bad thing. Just like Wii, Move is soon going to be inudated with cheap, hastily put-together minigame collecti...

  • Abstract:  Okay, you might need to look again when you first see this title because even though you may have seen it all before with Wii Sports, now it’s time for the PlayStation 3 to showcase their “Move” technology and this game is the perfect platform for this...

  • There are some genuinely clever uses for Move on offer, along with some addictive gameplay.
  • Only half of the games show any longevity, and when there's only six to begin with that's hardly impressive. There's an overall lack of innovation, and the AI avatars are so typecast they border on offensive.

  • Abstract:  Every motion control system, it seems, has to have one. The Wii had Wii Sports and its sequel. Microsoft will have Kinect Adventures. And Sony is touting Sports Champions as its premier lots-of-activities-on-one-disc motion-based offering. But is it an...

  • Fantastic showcase for Move, Genuinely deep, 'proper' gameplay, Gladiator Duel and Archery are Lord of the Rings wishfulfillment
  • Multiple controllers needed to get the best out of it, The presentation is fairly unlikeable, Volleyball falls fairly flat

  • Table tennis is awesome
  • Odd, small collection of sports
  • Worth picking up to play with friends, but some of the sports are dry...

  • Demonstrates the versatile range of control options Move will offer
  • Excessively tedious gameplay, graphically poor, lacks any sort of atmosphere, lacks interaction in the traditional sense
  • Overall Sports Champions isn't really a champion game. It shows what can be done with PlayStation Move and would be better bundled as a title or as a cheap PSN download, but as a game? No, we can't really recommend it...
