  • All in all, I had some reservations about returning to the series after 4 was felt a little lacking to me and the reboot was terrible when looked at canonically. But they have definitely been squashed underfoot. It's a fresh take that has revitalised my i...

  • Great visuals with awesome animations and creative enemy designs, especially some of the bosses, The sheer amount of depth to the combat is amazing and definitely unmatched by any other action game I know of, The game is pretty large even for a single pla
  • My biggest gripe is that you can't cycle through Nero's Devil Breaker arms at will, they break easily and they cost resources - these are not the makings of a fun mechanic, Capcom, especially when you add in the suspicious microtransaction bit, Lady and T
  • Devil May Cry 5 proves that it's still the king of spectacular, over-the-top action games by providing us more depth and variety than ever before alongside great visuals and ridiculously entertaining story...

  • Abstract:  Eleven years is a hell of a long time to wait for a sequel, and yet, here we are. Times have changed, hardware has evolved and the entire gaming landscape is a far cry from what it once was back in the late 2000s. Devil May Cry 5 is not the product of evo...

  • The question of which Devil May Cry game is the best has gotten much easier with Devil May Cry 5. The combat is the strongest the series has seen to date, the story does a great job of balancing all three of its main characters and doling out rewarding bi...

  • Truly magnificent combat, Three character system is interesting, Beautiful visuals
  • Basic level-design, V is not as enjoyable as Dante and Nero, Story feels like a step back
  • If you come to Devil May Cry 5 looking for a fight, then you'll find possibly the finest example the genre has ever produced. A ludicrous variety of moves and styles, physical, kinetic combat, and more sauce than a Heinz factory. Moment-to-moment, Devil M...

  • Character playstyles are dynamic, unique and satisfying to play, Excellent audio pairing and effects, Bloody Palace offers surprising replayability,
  • Cameo System feels underused, Can get grindy when farming, Lack of freedom to choose characters limits sense of achievement
