  • Abstract:  Am I happy I played this game! Super Paper Mario really surpassed my expectations. When I played Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door I felt slightly disappointed because, even though it was a Mario game, the gameplay wasn't entertaining enough for me. Alt...

  • Abstract:  Super Paper Mario combines the roleplaying elements of the Paper Mario series with the classic platform-style action of the original Super Mario Bros. games with mixed results. Find out more in our in-depth review. In the first two installments of the...

  • Unique blend of role-playing and platforming; clever, funny dialogue.
  • Some of the characters talk way too much; 3D world is barren and difficult to control in.
  • The added platforming elements may come as a shock to some, but if anything, it makes Super Paper Mario an even truer and more exceptional Mario game.

  • C’mon, it’s a him, Mario!, The story had me gripping at my seat, waiting for the next baddy, Good continuation of the Paper Mario spinoff, The splendid backdrops, The 2D/3D capability of the game, Multiple minigames that keep this game enjoy...
  • Unimaginative use of the Wiimote, Sometimes I had to grip at my seat WAY too long waiting for the next baddy, Felt like Nintendo wanted to rush this out for the Wii, Lack of requirement to use the special weapons
  • Overall The game lost points from me because of the un-original use of the new technology that came with the Wii. When I first read reviews on the Wii and the revolutionary controllers that were accompanying the counsel, I couldn’t stop thinking up...

  • Abstract:  Mario hadnt long been popped out from his two-dimensional world when Nintendo announced the original puzzling concept of Paper Mario on the N64. It seemed like something of a retrograde step to return their star plumber to his two dimensional roots. H...

  • Abstract:  Good ol Mario. Hes just such a dedicated protagonist. I mean, most heroes would get to their third papery adventure, find out theyve got to - once again - go traipsing across the land to find all the crystal/star/heart shards, and say enoughs enou...

  • Colorful visuals; Badge system is deep and fun to tinker with; timed button presses takes some of the bore out of turn-based battling.
  • Kiddie, predictable story and characters; game is too easy.
  • Paper Mario may be tailored towards the 10 and under crowd, but its interesting battles and Badge system still make it a fun RPG.

  • Now being honest with ourselves, we don’t buy Mario games for hi-def graphics or realistic sound effects. We buy Mario games because they are classics, a great story of good versus evil. They never fail to keep us entertained for hours and hours, an...

  • Unique blend of role-playing and platforming; clever, funny dialogue.
  • Dialogue drags on too often; 3D world is barren and difficult to control.
  • The new gameplay style may come as a shock to some, but it still makes for an exceptional Mario game.
