Abstract: April 30, 2007 - In the 80s, Transformers were all the rage with a cartoon, a highly successful toy line, and a movie that made a lot of adolescent kids tear up - even to this day. We all had our favorites and they included Optimus Prime, Bumble Bee, Mega...
Abstract: I really don’t want to say that Transformers: The Game is a quick cash in to go along with the movie, but it sure does feel that way. Everything just feels so dumbed down and last generation that it’s hard to even want to look at the Transform...
Story follows closely to the movie, Can play either side, Nice looking graphics
Lacking battle system, Camera is hard to control, Linear missions
Transformers: The Game for the Nintendo Wii is an enjoyable yet not overally impressive game. The game does follow the movie very closely, and I’m glad you have the option of playing either Autobots or Decepticons (the later are much more fu...
Abstract: Michael Bay has dumped his latest summer action blowout into theaters, much to the horror of die-hard Transformers fans, and to the mild amusement of bored teenagers. The unwritten law of movie tie-in games dictates that a console-spanning game must ac...
Better graphics than most Wii games; plenty of things that go "boom!"; tons of extras.
Dull, linear gameplay; sluggish, beyond awful controls lead to many deaths; no multiplayer.
A wasted use of a great license that misleads you into thinking its GTA with giant robots when its actually a slap-job bore fest with some of the worst controls ever in a videogame. If Megan Fox made an appearance wearing her half-shirt, I mightve a...
Abstract: In yet another blow to series canon, Megatron transforms into a shaky camera that always points in the wrong direction. At first glance, Activisions Transformers game for Wii looks to be a surprisingly polished movie adaptation. The graphics are unde...
Abstract: As I run around Transformers: The Game, I grab onto telephone poles, fences, giant hotdogs, and whatever I can get my cold steel hands on to defend myself as Decepticons bear down on me.
Transformers: The Game is a mixed bag of control issues and good looking effects that amount to a fair game. The frustrating parts can be overcome with practice and the game does not give away any spoilers of the movie. The overall rating does reflect ...
Abstract: Back in the 80’s I was a huge fan of the Transformers animated series for a few years. I watched the television shows whenever they were on, had several of the action figures and proudly went to the theater to see the movie. After the movie was rele...

Some missions can be enjoyable and challenging; better lock-on functionality than other versions; lots of fan service.
Combat is sloppy; driving controls are floaty; missions begin to feel repetitive; camera is difficult to deal with.
Like many guys my age, I grew up watching The Transformers after school. And like everyone else, I felt the knife in my heart when I first saw the new robot designs for Michael Bays upcoming movie based on the 80s cult phenomenon. Time (and some kick...
