  • Abstract:  Feature-for-feature, Lost Planet 2 should be an improvement over the original. It sports four-player online co-op, a robust multiplayer mode complete with unlockable goodies, and impressive visual design with lots of variety and artistic flair. Yet ama...

  • Fantastic production values, Loads of gameplay variety, A ton of online content, Competitive play can be good fun.
  • Abysmal friendly and enemy AI, Awful mission design, Relies too much on taking control away from the player, All sorts of small, deadly flaws.
  • This sci-fi sequel seems like it should have everything you need in a shooter, but a shocking number of design missteps suck out much of the fun....

  • Abstract:  The original Lost Planet was an engaging and cinematic experience, albeit one with a few flaws that kept it from truly being a classic. However, instead of outright rectifying these issues, publisher/developer Capcom has taken a different route and gon...

  • Online multiplayer mode still a lot of fun; expanded with new maps and customization options; solid graphics and visuals.
  • Fourplayer coop campaign is dull and frustrating; awful checkpoint system further sullies campaign; unintelligible narrative with anonymous characters.

  • Lost Planet 2 plays like it was never put in front of a member of its intended audience at some point during its development, someone who might have asked "why?": "Why can't I pause the game unless I make my game unjoinable?" "Why can't I join a co-op ...

  • Abstract:  The developers of Lost Planet 2 weren’t kidding when they said that this sequel would be completely different to the original. Soon after their announcement, in-game screenshots of steamy jungles and fern smattered landscapes started to appear. It cert...

  • A beautiful game world that at times can leave you breathless. Fantastic audio and wonderful orchestration at major moments in the game. Entertaining multiplayer and four player co-op campaign.
  • Many of the problems from the first game remain. The campaign is boring and hugely frustrating. A terrible checkpoint system. An unengaging plot that can’t be carried by the bland characters. Awful AI for both enemy and friendly units.

  • Abstract:  A better game than the first, dressed in even prettier clothing. The AI still has problems and the camera can be a pain in the backside, but there's little faulting its dedication to all-out action. Capcom - Lost Planet 2 price Buy Lost Planet 2 secur...

  • Video games have a long history of diminishing returns when it comes to sequels. And while it’s difficult enough to improve a really good game, Lost Planet 2 proves it’s almost impossible to improve an utterly average one. ® More Games ReviewsAlan Wak...
