The largest world Rockstar has created, done so with stunning attention to detail - even the ecology has a life of its own. The game offers a wide range of incidental opportunities and rewards tangential play. The Dead Eye mechanic is a ton of fun. The Euphoria physics engine creates charmingly hammy deaths.
While saving at any camp is a step forward, simply saving via a menu would be quicker and more user-friendly. Moreover, each save rolls the day/night cycle forward. No checkpoints for random events. Occasional rubber banding in pursuits.
