  • Abstract:  Mario Puzo's world of The Godfather seems to be one that's ripe for any medium to exploit. The dark, seedy underworld and its shady dealings, the importance of family and loyalty, the constant intrigue and deception, the cerebral, almost regal way in whic...

  • With a little more effort and polish this game could have been a classic to rival or even exceed GTA IV. As it is however, it really is going to be up to the individual gamer if this game is a rent, buy, or skip. Critical reviews are all over the place...

  • Abstract:  There's a point when, after you stumble into yet another completely recognisable bar, you conclude that Godfather II suffers from some pretty serious deja vu: the designers should probably be thoroughly checked for symptoms of serious short term memory...

  • Some cool cut scenes from The Godfather: Part II. Familiar characters from the film make it into the game to help you out.
  • Repetitive to the point of being boring. Open world is rough and buggy. Winning the game takes you to other locales where you do the same thing you did in previous areas. Once you get the hang of the game its not very challenging.
  • The Godfather II is an offer EA should have refused. The missions in this attempted homage to the classic film quickly lose their luster, and the open-world game play is kludgy and unfocused....

  • Abstract:  When it comes to movies, it is a rare occurrence that a sequel can match the success of the original. The Godfather II is one of those. A cinematic tour de force, the film managed to match the original and in many ways surpassed it. So it comes as no s...

  • Abstract:  As far as the visuals are concerned, The Godfather II is a good looking game which really comes as no surprise as EA games, for the most part, look good on next generation consoles. The Godfather II takes place in the late 1950s and early 1960s in thre...

  • Decent storyline based on the film; gunplay and executions are fun.
  • Ugly and generic world; no challenge to gunfights; poorly implemented strategy section.
  • Sonny Corleone was a hothead who shot first and never bothered asking questions. His intentions were good but his implementation sucked. His brother Michael, on the other hand, was a man who thought through everything and paid attention to details. He ...

  • Abstract:  If had been a mediocre, mindless action flick, the game of the same name could at least be considered faithful to its source material. As it is, though, Coppolas Mafia-themed masterpiece has been reduced to an uninspired, repetitive open-world action...
