Look great, Comfortable, Long battery life, Great sound
Expensive, Sound needs improvement at the low end
You're still paying a lot for a logo, but the Beats Solo 2 Wireless headphones show that Beats is quickly closing the gap between style and sound....

The Beats Solo 2 Wireless is a well-built wireless headphone that sounds good in both wireless and wired modes and is relatively comfortable to wear for an on-ear headphone. Its battery life is decent and has a remote control built-in to the right earcup
Expensive; doesn't sound quite as good as the Bose SoundLink On-Ear Bluetooth, which costs $50 less
Beats on-ear Bluetooth headphone has lot going for it, but it doesn't quite justify its lofty price tag....
The sound quality of the Beats Solo 2 has finally caught up to the headphone's forward thinking design. They're not the best sounding or best value pair of headphones you can buy, but they're certainly one of the nicest aesthetically. If you're after a f...

After weighing up the pros and cons of the $259 Beats Solo2, I have to say I'm slightly shocked to be coming out in favour of these headphones. I fully expected the Solo2 to have significantly worse sound and worse build quality than it did. The bundled h...
Bold, upfront listen, Rich, full-bodied sound, Very close in character between wired and wireless,
Lack subtlety, Could be handle dynamics better, Expensive,
The real struggle here is the cost. As ever, the Beats branding appears to have put a premium on the price and, at £230, they sit between two great pairs of headphones - the AKG Y50BTs at £150 and the B&W P5 Wireless at £330, either of which make much mor...
Long battery life, Carry pouch included, Good passive isolation, Can be disconnected without deactivating Bluetooth, Pretty precise sound, Good stereo
They squeeze your head like a vise, High Bluetooth latency, Upper half of the spectrum less audible than lower half, Bluetooth causes harmonic distortion
Beats has come a long way. Gone are the days of shaky manufacturing and poor sound quality. This first Apple/Dre collaboration has produced a pair of headphones that stays true to the brand's bassy ethos, but that, this time, stays in check. Just keep in...
Solid, hefty bass, No hardness or brightness to the sound,
Short on subtlety and dynamics, They struggle to adapt to changes in pace,
The top picks at this money, such as the B&O H2s and Philips M1MKIIs sound clearer, more exciting and deliver rhythms with more care and greater finesse. The Solo 2s do the job - the problem is that rival cans do it better for similar money...
