  • Abstract:  C5 makes a great first impression, in part because B&W has taken canalphone design in some new directions. They start with the glossy black tungsten housing tubes, which have been angled with steel “micro porous filter” caps made from microscopic ball...

  • The real story here is the price. With a B&W product, we often expect to see premium pricing based on their name and reputation. At $180, the C5 in-ear headphones are actually quite reasonable. While we're sure some consumers would expect noise-cancel...

  • Cutting-edge design; reasonable price; great overall sound
  • Tricky to manoeuvre cabling; doesn't block all extraneous sound, $249
  • The overall sound quality of the C5s are exemplary. However, if you’re after a pair of in-ear headphones with full noise isolation, you may be disappointed with what the model offers. In terms of design, the C5s are hard to look past. Match your Apple ...

  • The Bowers & Wilkins C5 earphones offer clean, detailed, natural sound with tight bass. They feature an integrated microphone with navigation controls for cell-phone use, and an eye-catching industrial design with an innovative adjustable Secure Loop keep
  • The Secure Loop design isn't universally comfortable (doesn't work well in all ears) and the in-line remote is designed to work only with Apple iOS devices, not Android smartphones
  • While the Secure Loop design may not be a perfect fit for every ear, the Bowers & Wilkins C5s are among the best-sounding earphones in their sub-$200 price class....

  • Packing performance and prettiness in a tiny package, the Bowers & Wilkins C5s are the best of both worlds, though at a premium. You will get what you pay for, however, as these headphones are a good buy.The price point will dissuade many buyers, however,...

  • Sounds quality, build, comfortable
