  • At the sub-£1000 price-point, it's hard to find a 4K screen that does HDR justice, especially while catering to gamers' needs by featuring low input latency. Many displays lack a high enough level of peak brightness, or struggle to display a wide colour g...

  • Excellent picture quality, Loads of catch-up apps, Great design, Low input-lag for gaming
  • Smart remote doesn't work well, Auto Motion Plus is a little aggressive
  • Small niggles aside, the Samsung KS7000 is an excellent TV. Picture quality is great straight out of the box, and it has plenty of controls to help you fine-tune it if you have a colorimeter handy. It's easy to set up, too, and its ten-year warranty again...

  • Blisteringly bright, colourful, contrast-rich HDR pictures, Good value for such HDR-friendly images, Excellent with SDR too
  • Some colour banding with HDR content, Limited effective viewing angle, Black levels not as deep as those of more expensive Samsung models
  • Despite a limited viewing angle and some HDR colour banding, the UE55KS7000 proves that genuinely premium HDR thrills don't have to cost a fortune...

  • Delivering an image that's almost as good as the more expensive KS8000 series, the Samsung UE49KS7000 offers exceptional value for money. Among the set's many strengths, super-low input lag (including in HDR mode) and BFI-enhanced motion clarity are the t...

  • HDR, upscaling, Subtle HDR images, Separate connections box, Slick, quick Smart Hub
  • Requires large TV table, Some backlight bleeding, Lacks YouView or Freeview Play, No 3D support
  • HDR+ is the key feature to get excited about in this sumptuously designed 55-incher, which 'upscales' to HDR while presenting 4K detail and Samsung's slickest smart TV platform yet. It's not perfect, but fed a diet of Hi-Def or 4K HDR, the UE55KS7000 purr...

  • Great picture quality, high quality design, slick and fast user interface
  • Inflexible stand, no 3D
  • The Samsung UE55KS7000 is an excellent TV for the price, from picture quality through to the design. The arrangement of having a separate connections box is great for those wall-mounting, as you won't have to scrabble behind the TV every time you wa...

  • Impressive greyscale and colour accuracy, Excellent black levels and contrast ratios, Very good local dimming, Effective video processing, Full HDR support, Incredibly low input lag, State-of-the-art smart features
  • No support for 3D, Backlight sometimes struggled with HDR content
  • Well if you're looking for a great performing TV at a very attractive price, then the simple answer is yes. The Samsung UE55KS7000 can be picked up £1,499 and for that you get a fully loaded Ultra HD 4K TV with a flat 10-bit panel, a wider colour gamut, H...
