  • Abstract:  Weve had the pleasure of working with the AX200U and it looks to be another winner from Panasonic. Of particular note is its outstanding display of HD movies from HD DVD and Blu-ray. Believe it or not, even though the display is native 720p resolution, th...

  • Easy installation with wide zoom and lens shift, fully supports 1080p24 for smooth high definition images, no screen door effect at all.
  • Image can seem a touch softer due to lack of screen door effect.
  • Note: This projector was reviewed in comparison to 4 others as part of the Into the light - 5 projectors reviewed article.

  • Great colour reproduction, impressively clean image quality
  • Heavy and bulky, only 720p The Final Word Panasonics PT-AX200E projector is great for both viewing data and movies thanks to impressive image quality and unaltered colour reproduction, but lacks Full HD output.

  • Accurate colour reproduction, Impressive image quality
  • Plain design, Big and heavy, 720p only
  • The Panasonic PT-AX200E is an easy to use, flexible projector that provides excellent resolution for both data and movies. However, this powerful unit is only a minor, if cheaper, upgrade of its predecessor and lacks full high definition.

  • Pluses, Design & handling, Video noise very well handled, Very good DVD upscaling to 720p, Quiet dynamic iris, 27.5 dB recorded when in operation
  • Minuses, Price a little high for a 720p projector, Matrix visible very occasionally, Uneven picture sharpness not great for office computing
