  • The Fitbit Ionic offers a comfortable design, with 50-meter water resistance for swimming, GPS and mobile payments. You only need to recharge it once or twice a week
  • While the Ionic supports future apps and watch faces, few are available yet. Included apps feel slow and don't launch from the watch face. There's not much on-watch coaching and music storage and playback is often more trouble than it's worth
  • The Fitbit Ionic has all the features we've been wanting in a Fitbit for years, but it ultimately feels less than the sum of its parts...

  • The Ionic is Fitbit's strongest smartwatch yet, despite a few annoyances such as the inability to view past workouts on the watch itself and it's rather basic handling of notifications. Whether it can sway potential customers away from the latest Apple Wa...

  • Incredible battery life, Automatic workout tracking is a nice addition, Waterproof up to 50 meters, Great interchangeable bands, Stores up to 300 songs
  • App offerings leave a bit to be desired, Lacks the ability to respond to text messages/emails, Not as full-featured as other smartwatches on the market
  • Fitness fanatics should absolutely buy Fitbit's Ionic. Featuring an impressive suite of fitness tracking capabilities — such as auto-tracking of runs, swim tracking via its waterproof design, custom workouts, and multi-sport compatibility — there's no bet...

  • We're really pleased to see a smartwatch made by Fitbit. While it's expensive for a fitness tracker, it does pack in a lot of high-end features that will appeal to a wide range of people, from hardcore fitness fanatics to the more casual gym-goers.While t...

  • Four day battery life, Solid sports tracking, Guided workouts, Fitbit Pay works
  • Buggy software, Too many TBC features, Design will divide, Inconsistent heart rate
  • There's a lot that we really like about Fitbit's first smartwatch, but ultimately the software niggles make it difficult to put it in the same bracket as the Apple Watch, the best that Android Wear has to offer and Samsung's Gear smartwatches right now. W...

  • We're really pleased to see a proper smartwatch made by Fitbit. We're a bit surprised by the price tag when you consider its rivals, but it does pack in a lot of features that will appeal to a wide range of people, from hardcore fitness fanatics to the mo...

  • Slick, beautifully designed, Dynamic fitness features
  • High price, Limited third-party apps
  • It has been a long time coming, but the Fitbit Ionic looks to be the best wearable the company has ever created, combining all the best elements of a smartwatch with easy to use Fitbit fitness features. Android Wear and the Apple Watch better watch out...

  • Abstract:  Fitbit has a full-fledged smartwatch. But can it compete with Apple Watch?Squared-off, metal, a slightly curved screen. The Fitbit Ionic looks sharp on my wrist. It also looks like an Apple Watch. Or, close enough to one that most people might confuse it...
