  • Abstract:  Well, would you look at that? After a mildly uncomfortable wait, the very first Netflix set-top-box has landed (the Xbox 360 with plug-ins notwithstanding). Thanks to Roku, users can finally tap into (a portion of) the Netflix library without having to wa...

  • Affordable. Provides uninterrupted standard-definition movie streams. No PC necessary. Easy setup. Automatically syncs your Instant Queue.
  • Streams at low bit rates on slow networks. Limited selection of films. No HD support—yet.
  • For those looking to augment an unlimited Netflix subscription, this set-top box from Roku is affordable and easy to use. Heres hoping the movie selection becomes broader....

  • video quality from streams. Box automatically upgrades as new software features become available. No cost above normal Netflix subscription.
  • Another nondescript black box to clutter up your living room. Just not as much content as we wish was available. Box and remote, while functional, just arent very good looking.

  • Streams Netflix Watch Now titles to your TV; affordable $100 price tag; unlimited viewing with no additional charge beyond standard ($8.95 or higher) monthly Netflix fee; PC-free movie watching; simple setup; includes built-in wired and 802.11g Wi-Fi n...
  • Though growing, the number of Watch Now titles currently available for streaming is still fairly paltry, especially when it comes to popular recent releases; video quality doesnt come close to DVD or HD; far too many titles dont appear in their origi...
  • While its still a work in progress--and currently lean on quality content--the Netflix Players simple operation, overall convenience, and cheap price makes it a compelling option for Netflix subscribers looking for instant gratification.
