  • The DJI Spark has received a lot of attention thanks to its diminutive size, but how does it stack up? In our review, we take a look at what it's like to fly this pint-sized drone, as well as what's in it for photographers. Between now and the end of the...

  • The DJI Spark is a great starter drone with a usable camera. It's fun to use and easy to fly. If you need 4K and DNG, don't even look at it, go for the Mavic Pro. If these aren't an issue, you'll love the Spark, but save yourself some pain and get the kit...

  • Compact and light enough to bring on most adventures, Easy to operate, Excellent build quality, While not professional quality, camera captures decent stills and video, Drone, Remote Controller and iOS app receive frequent updates
  • Battery provides a maximum flight time of 15 minutes, Battery takes a long time to recharge, Drone is small and light enough that it can become unstable in moderate wind conditions, Unimpressive lowlight camera performance, Extra batteries, propeller guar
  • The DJI Spark's compact size and impressive capabilities make it more pleasurable to own and operate than any other drone in its price range. But its pricey accessories can make getting the most out of it an expensive proposition. To comment on thi...

  • Once you get your head round some of these things they quickly become second nature and you're up in the air. I showed you in the video up above how to get the Spark airborne in its hand gesture mode, which takes about a minute, In the video below I show
  • Short flight time, Smudgy detail in low light, Gestures not always recognised
  • To some drones have sort of been like what flash photography is to others: a seemingly complex niche of photography that's too daunting to try. But the Spark breaks down this wall. Its ruggedness and simplicity inspires confidence in novices like myself t...

  • DJI Mavic Pro DJI Spark, Full featured drone, Shoots 4K video, Longer flight time, Longer range (distance), 3-axis stabalizer, Half the weight of the Mavic Pro, Hand gestures, Super easy to fly, Can be controlled without RC
  • DJI Mavic Pro DJI Spark, Heavier than the Spark, Larger in dimension than Spark, No hand gesture, Does not shoot 4K video, Only 2-axis stabalzer, Shorter flight time,
  • Both the DJI Mavic Pro and DJI Spark are very good drones. If you're a prosumer with some drone flying experience, then go for the Mavic Pro. It'll give you gorgeous 4K footage, plus longer ranger (distance). For all you beginners, go for the DJI Spark. It...

  • Easy to fly, Good looking video
  • Too many firmware updates, Controller does not fit in travel box
  • The Spark is affordable at 500 dollars. It offers full HD video and 16 minutes of flight time. The case it comes with could be better, and DJI needs to get its firmware updates under control, but beyond that, the Spark is a good value and the video looks...

  • If you're looking for a tiny drone that's great fun to fly, then the Spark is for you. If you're after the very best image quality or long battery life, you may want to look elsewhere...

  • But before you spend any money, consider your mission. Are you a beginner, looking to get a first drone that works dependably well for most purposes? The Spark’s a great choice. Are you a long-time Phantom owner, looking for something more portable? The S...
