Abstract: Embrace the notch.Every year you'd probably always hear how Apple's current iPhone is always the best one. That's always true, and the same goes with every other flagship released in that year. Since its debut in 2007, the iPhone has ushered a new generat...
Abstract: Reason No. 297 why waterproof phones are handy.A few years ago, you'd be hard pressed to find an elegant, premium phone that was also waterproof. Aside from Sony's Xperia phones, most waterproof phones were clunky-looking with mid-tier specs. These days th...
Abstract: Apple's iPhone X is here! I hate it!Okay, so I don't really hate it all that much anymore, but I did hate it. Everything about it seemed like a compromise that I really wasn't willing to make. The notch, the disappearance of Touch ID, a whole new bunch of...

Excellent display, Face ID, Animojis, Great camera
(Very) expensive, Some users may not like the notch
The iPhone X is leaps and bounds from the original iPhone released in 2007 – and while that won't impress other users, it is still the best iPhone Apple has ever made...

A great blend of handheld comfort and a big, gorgeous OLED screen. Rear telephoto camera outshoots the 8 Plus in low light, and the front camera snaps impressive portrait selfies. Face ID generally works fine
New interface and no home button mean major adjustments, and key features such as the Control Center are harder to reach and use. It'll take time for most apps to be optimized for notched screen. The phone is hella expensive

New OLED display is beautiful, Bezel-less design makes a big screen usable, A11 Bionic processor is screaming-fast, TrueDepth camera could be a game-changer
It's expensive, Face ID has a learning curve, The 'notch, Apple repairs are more expensive than any other iPhone
There's something both familiar and foreign about the iPhone X. On the one hand, it conjures memories of earlier iPhones, with aesthetic cues borrowed from the past ten years of designs. At the same time, though, the hardware has been pushed back to the p...

Impeccable build quality, Face ID generally works well, Great performance, Good main cameras get even better
The lack of a home button takes some getting used to, Not all apps use the whole screen, Portrait selfies are hit-or-miss, Battery life could be better
At the end of the day, here's what you've got to remember: this isn't just an expensive, ambitious offshoot of the classic iPhone lineage. It's the future of the iPhone itself. And to be clear, Apple didn't get absolutely everything right. The notch is we...
