  • 1.3megapixel camera, Music and video playback, Expandable memory, Mapping application, Superior push email capabilities, EDGE support, Bluetooth
  • MicroSD slot is inconveniently located behind the battery, Call quality was subpar in our tests, Camera does not record video, No external controls for the music player, No integrated WiFi

  • Screen a tad too small to read big emails on, keypad takes a little getting use to, no 3G
  • Where the phone will succeed is those looking for more messaging, but not prepared to go for the rather large full Qwerty keyboard option already offered by RIM

  • First BlackBerry to offer a 1.3-megapixel camera, music and video playback; expandable memory, mapping application; superior push e-mail capabilities, EDGE support; Bluetooth.
  • micro SD slot inconveniently located; call quality was subpar; phones camera doesnt record video, no external controls for music player; no integrated Wi-Fi.
  • Though nothing revolutionary, the addition of multimedia features and the already solid e-mail capabilities make the RIM BlackBerry Pearl an attractive device for business users and consumers alike.

  • Responsive trackball, easy to set up and operate; SureType software; cool design.
  • No video capture; lacks 3G and WiFi; soft audio.
  • The Pearl 8100 is a no-nonsense phone, which enables you to take your work e-mail with you while on the go. In our opinion, the only features it lacks are todays must-have 3G and WiFi connectivity options. You can also use it as a standard phone with...
