Moving beyond the camera, the most obvious omission remains the lack of Flash support, which rules out viewing embedded video in many web sites, Performance & battery life, RIM claims that the 1,230mAh battery in the Bold 9790 is good for up to 5.2 hours
The BlackBerry Bold 9790 doesn't offer everything that the more expensive Bold 9900 does. It's smaller, which results in screen and keyboard compromises, and some usability issues, and has a slower processor. But it runs BlackBerry 7 OS and there's a full...
Great incall audio quality, Premium feel, Nice physical keyboard
Web browser needs more work, Outdated, uncomfortable interface
Overall, there is a lot to like about the BlackBerry Bold 9790. It is beautifully designed, has a really nice QWERTY keyboard, and delivers outstanding in-call audio quality. In fact, if you are a BlackBerry enthusiast, you probably needn't look at a h...
Email and messaging features, Compact and lightweight, Excellent battery performance, Sharp screen
Keyboard is a little small, Expensive when sim free, No HD video mode
The role of the Bold 9790 is clearly to provide a bridge between the Bold 9900 and Curve 9360, which is quite a tough job. While the Bold 9790 is well built, it looks unremarkable, lacking the the generous screen, fantastic keyboard and premium build of...

Generous 8GB memory, Great keyboard, Easy to set up, Holds onto signal well, iTunes sync is simple
Only a lock button up top, no media buttons, Touchscreen too small, No HD video, App World still poor, Contacts need a lick of paint
It's hard to be massively excited about the BlackBerry Bold 9790. The Bold 9900 was a mobile phone to be excited about, since it was the obvious successor to the Bold 9700 and 9780 handsets, which seemed like they'd been around forever. But just when the ...
