  • Abstract:  I don't ask that question because I have anything against the soon-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy Note 8 or LG V30 or iPhone 8. I ask it because after experiencing last year's Google Pixel and Pixel XL for months, taking a break to review other flagship r...

  • Google's Pixel 2 has a superb camera with OIS and excellent low-light shooting. It's water-resistant and Google Lens calls up a trove of information to help you explore your surroundings
  • The phone's battery doesn't keep pace with the Pixel's competitors and its Portrait Mode isn't as smooth on dual-camera phones. Its design feels dated and it doesn't have wireless charging or a headphone jack
  • Buy the Pixel 2 for one of the best cameras on any Android phone and fast Google updates, but be aware that an upgrade is likely coming in a few months...

  • Pure Android experience, slick design, bright sharp screens, excellent camera, solid battery life, fast charging, smart features
  • Expensive, no microSD card
  • The new Pixel 2 smartphones certainly hold their own in the top tier. They are high quality, well-designed and brimming with excellent features. If you're an Android user who wants a high-quality device then the Google Pixel should definitely be near the...

  • Abstract:  This means that they don't look like a million dollars, compared to those phones which feature glass backs and shiny metal highlights, but they feel instantly premium. More importantly, the focus from Google — undeniably — has been function, rather than a...

  • Abstract:  Google took a big risk last year when it replaced the mid-range Nexus line with the high-end Pixel. Shooting higher and asking for more money let Google compete directly with companies like Apple and Samsung, and show other Android manufacturers how great...

  • Great form-factor, Brilliant everyday performance, Outstanding camera results
  • Displays on both the Pixel 2 and XL have their drawbacks, Battery life is only OK
  • If you want a smartphone that's as clean as they come and brilliantly-effective at tackling the everyday problems it sets out to solve, the Pixel 2 is a clear-cut winner...
