  • The T-Mobile Shadow is a decent tweener Windows Mobile smartphone with a pretty face. Call quality isn't the best we've heard, but it's adequate. Whether this phone is worth the cost, depends entirely on what sort of deal you get from the carrier....

  • Welldesigned screen gives easy access, Smooth jog wheel facilitates navigation
  • Audio quality on calls sounded tinny

  • Shadow is a sleek slider with a custom interface and jog dial that make it easier to use than the average Windows Mobile smartphone. The SureType keypad fits a QWERTY layout into the space of a regular numerical keypad but has larger buttons than the ...
  • Not everyone will like Shadow’s keypad. Wider than most slider phones. Less powerful than many smartphones. No touchscreen. EDGE is slow for Web browsing.
  • If you’re looking for a smartphone in a sleek disguise, Shadow is an interesting choice. Though it runs Windows Mobile, it’s really more like a souped-up messaging phone than a smartphone. The custom UI is a great touch.

  • Abstract:  Were not used to being wowed by T-Mobile phones, since the trendiest and flashiest models usually go to other carriers, but the Shadow is a beautifully designed creation.

  • Nice material design. Neo interface is very spiffy and convenient. Wi-Fi is a fair substitute for 3G, for now. SureType keyboard brings QWERTY to this small device.
  • Beauty may be skin deep. Neo interface doesnt really improve calling, messaging and other core functions. Wi-Fi but no UMA? Too bad.

  • Abstract:  The biggest complaint I hear about Windows Mobile is the interface. This has been the top complaint since day one and the main reason why my wife is still using a Palm. It used to be that the devices didn’t ship with enough memory so you had to ...

  • Nice form factor, big display, WiFi, cool UI
  • Poor battery life, unimpressive call audio, some UI glitches, backlight problems
  • The T-Mobile Shadow is one fun handset to own and use. It is good looking, has some nice user interface enhancements, and can even take a nice photo. It has a lot going for it, but the poor battery life is more than enough to keep the Shadow from getti...
