  • Phone supports fast network speeds, Pop-out keyboard design works well
  • T-Mobile network remains inconsistent, Voice quality, noise cancellation mediocre
  • While HTC and Google have done well at updating the G1 handset, concerns over the reach and consistency of the T-Mobile 3G network may prevent some people from buying into the G2. ...

  • HSPA connectivity, Quality industrial design, Smart & responsive keyboard, Peppy performance
  • Questionable hinge mechanism, Poor 720p video capture
  • Yes, it's a design marvel from every aspect you look at it seeing that the T-Mobile G2 is one of the best designed smartphones in recent memory. For a while there, we were beginning to wonder if US consumers would ever see an HTC handset that rivals ...

  • Snappy performer, Spacious keyboard, Fast HSPA+ data, Excellent call quality, Long battery life
  • Comes pre-loaded with several apps that can't be removed, Hinge design raises durability concerns, Tethering disabled
  • HTC has created a worthy successor to the original Android phone, which is also the first handset to deliver 4G data speeds on T-Mobile.

  • The T-Mobile G2 is an awesome phone with some superlative features, but HTC and T-Mobile didn’t quite push this phone far enough ahead of the Android pack. The phone is insanely fast in every way. In terms of interface performance, there was never a l...

  • Overall, the T-Mobile G2 is a well-equipped Android device, and offers vanilla Android fans something outside of the Nexus One. It's fast, with an exceptional keyboard and a design that appeals to youngsters and businesspeople alike. I'm a bit trou...

  • Android not completely stockHinge problems could annoy someA bit bulky
  • The G2 is not just an awesome Android phone, it's an awesome phone, period. It's clear that HTC has taken its years of experience with devices in this form factor and applied that knowledge to this device. From a hardware perspective, you'd be hard-presse...

  • The T-Mobile G2 boasts a premium design and easy-to-use QWERTY keyboard. It's the first smartphone to support T-Mobile's HSPA+ network, and offers speedy performance and good call quality. It ships running Android 2.2 with the stock Android interface
  • The G2 doesn't offer tethering or mobile hot spot capabilities. We have some concerns about the slider hinge
  • Some minor issues aside, the T-Mobile G2 is one of the carrier's top Android smartphones, offering an excellent QWERTY keyboard, speed, and plenty of features.
