The editors liked

  • 마시멜로에 들어오며 한층 정돈된 인터페이스. 음악 재생 기능이 뛰어나다. 스냅드래곤은 더 이상 화룡이 아니다.

The editors didn't like

  • 후면 광각 카메라 화소수가 떨어진다. 64GB 모델도 있었더라면 좋았을 것. 유심 트레이를 튼튼한 재질로 썼다면 어땠을까

  • Great performance, Dual-camera setup is fun, fascinating, Modular design has potential
  • The first add-on accessories aren't great, Fit and finish doesn't impress, Middling battery life
  • LG's choice to build a modular flagship smartphone is so brave it borders on nutty -- too bad the phone doesn't live up to its potential. It's a powerful smartphone with an inspired approach to photography, but it feels like LG made too many compromis...

  • Abstract:  You've read our text review of the G5, but what about video? Well, Mark Burstiner breaks down the latest from LG in our official video review. The G5 is a powerful smartphone - no doubt about that. It goes toe to toe with Samsung's Galaxy S7 in a spec shee...

  • The world's initial impression of the LG G5 was that the phone's modules would make or break it. After spending multiple weeks with the phone and seeing module support dwindle, the modular design means nothing at all for the G5. This is yet another phone...

  • With exception of the camera, there is very little I enjoy about the LG G5. While I applaud LG's efforts in making it so you can do more with your phone by extending it with various "modules" I struggle to see why I would recommend this phone over the V10...

  • Abstract:  I never thought I'd write this about any phone, but the LG G5 just feels a bit desperate. It feels rushed. It feels like LG's designers were locked in a room, working on what could be a very good phone, and then someone bolted out the door Leeroy Jenkins-...

  • Improved battery swap system, Beautiful, high-res display, State-of-the-art processor, LG's awesome manual camera controls
  • Flawed industrial design, Extremely dim always-on display, Wide-angle camera is more gimmicky than useful, Modular "Friends" accessories aren't very good
  • The G5 isn't a "bad" phone in the big scheme of all available Android phones. But despite a great display, awesome camera controls, and an improved battery swapping system, it's still notably flawed. $689 unlocked...
