  • Improved build quality. Similar performance to the Moto G4, but at a lower price point. Decent battery life and display. Includes a fingerprint sensor for the first time. Runs stock Android 7.0
  • Lacklustre camera is a downgrade from the G4 Play

  • Abstract:  The Motorola Moto G5 Plus is coming real soon! We had the opportunity earlier tonight to have our first-ever hands-on preview of the Moto G5 Plus smartphone. We also managed to unearth some preliminary information on the Moto G5 Plus. Check out the previe...

  • The Moto G5 Plus looks way out of its class. Where else are you going to pay $229 for a phone that's made of metal? Better yet, where else are you going to pay $229 for a phone that's anywhere close to the Moto G5 Plus on paper? Lenovo's latest mid-range...

  • The splash-resistant Moto G5 Plus has a near stock version of Android Nougat, a good camera and video, and a metal build -- and it's extremely kind to your wallet
  • There's no NFC on the US model, and audio sounds tinny through the built-in speaker
  • With a long list of features you want and only a few that you don't, there is no better budget phone than Motorola's Moto G5 Plus...

  • Abstract:  It has been a couple of years since we last reviewed a Moto G phone, so even though we don't always drop down to the mid-tier range, it felt like a good time to make a return before Samsung's new ridiculously expensive products arrive. This time, it's th...

  • Good camera, Smooth performance, Very cheap
  • Lackluster design, No NFC, Poor sunlight visibility
  • Motorola's new Moto G5 Plus is easily the best affordable smartphone out there right now. It features the same great camera as the Galaxy S7 and its octa-core 2GHz processor paired with Android 7.0 Nougat make it a slick performer. It's a bit dull on the...

  • Battery life for days, Inexpensive doesn't mean cheap, Solid everyday performance, Crisp 1080p display
  • No NFC when mobile payments are finally catching on, microUSB charging is so 2016, Low light camera performance is just OK
  • The Moto G5 Plus does everything it should at this price, and then some. It's perfect for teens or those who don't want to spend a fortune on a smartphone...

  • Much more premium design than past Moto G phones, Great battery life, fast recharging, Fingerprintscanner gestures work great, Expansive carrier support
  • Camera feels like it doesn't reach its potential, Discounted adsupported version only for Amazon Prime users, MicroUSB: why?, Could use more robust waterresistance
  • It's easy to pick up the very wrong impression that there's not much to look forward to in the mid-range smartphone space, like it's some dumping ground for leftover components, offers uninspired hardware design at best, and aims little higher than giving...

  • Industrial Design is on point, Metal and glass gives phone a premium feel, Fingerprint sensor up front, Top-quality camera (especially at this price), Headphone jack
  • No NFC, No removable battery, micro-USB (not USB-C), External speaker quality not the best, Water repellent, not water or dust-proof
  • Because this smartphone looks rather nice, feels good to use (metal!), and takes decent photos, it's a good phone. For the price it's being offered at, the Moto G5 Plus is more than a good phone, it's a great phone. Lenovo's Motorola has hit the right spe...
