  • I've had a lot of good things to say about the Oppo N1, so please, do not mistake a lack of enthusiasm for disdain. The thing about the N1 is that, to me, it just doesn't feel like a phone marking CyanogenMod's big commercial debut. I'm not knocking th...

  • Its matte finish gives the Oppo N1 a more premium feel than its plastic chassis would suggest. The phone also has a great camera and strong battery life, and the swiveling camera is an innovative touch
  • The N1 lacks a microSD card slot, is heavy, and has no LTE. Some will find its dimensions awkwardly large
  • With its swiveling camera mount and high tech specs, the Oppo N1 is easily today's most innovative smartphone that most people haven't heard of.

  • ColorOS is faster than I had expected. Normally when an Android OEM themes and customizes Android's UI as much as Oppo has, you see lag through the user interface. This is something that I didn't see or wasn't noticeable in my experiences. While having An...

  • 13 MP swivelmounted rear shooter can be used as a frontfacing cam
  • Subpar picture quality compared to other cameracentric phones, Weak earpiece
  • If you are eyeing a 6-incher like the Oppo N1, you are probably aware how uncomfortable to operate with one hand or even carry around such a phone would be. That being said, it is a very well-made device, with solid build, good looks, and flagship spec...

  • Screen is genuinely outstanding, Monster battery, Great quality sound
  • Earpiece is too quiet in a noisy environment, Buttons are slim and often need a second press, Don't sit down with it in your pocket
  • The short story is that the Oppo N1 is a really nice device. It features some classic styling, except for the rotating camera party trick. There are however potential deal-breaking points that some users simply won't be able to overcome. The top bezel is c...

  • Great HDR camera, Great battery life, Clever gesturebased shortcuts
  • Pointless rear touch panel, Poor front touch buttons, Busy notifications area
