My final verdict on reviewing the Samsung Wave II S8530 is that it's an excellent smartphone. I don't see any reason not to buy it. If you don't mind not getting an Android phone, the Wave II S8530 is the way to go. It is the perfect successor t...
Outstanding workmanship, Above average equipment, Convincing value for money ratio
Almost the same hardware as its predecessor, Small app availability and thus limited expandability, Partly mulish browser
Samsung Wave II GT-S8530After the predecessor had set the expectations quite high, the Wave II GT-S8530 brings them back down to earth. Beside the larger screen and a new version of Samsung's own operating system, the successor hardly has anything new to...

Very good camera, Solid metal construction, Rich support of video and audio codecs
No ambient light sensor for automatic adjustment of screen brightness, bada 1.2 browser still doesn't support Adobe Flash 10.1

The connection quality is above any criticism, the ringtones are loud, but vibration is not always felt. The loudspeaker on the top is an advantage when the phone is used from the pocket, but it is a problem at times: if you put the handset upside dow...
I will not dwell on issues of connection quality and signal reception, because my sample had no problems with it. The loudspeaker of Wave 525 sounds great and sometimes can even be too noisy if you choose an annoying and loud ringtone. The speaker is ...
