  • The phone is a well designed integrated device that looks and functions easily ,MP3 player is on par with portable, stand alone MP3 devices ,Digital camera is one of the best that I have seen integrated into a phone ,Bluetooth capability synched well ,...
  • Tough to navigate, the buttons were hard to work with when going through the menus ,Battery life can be improved, however expect to recharge the batteries often if you are using the MP3 player or digital camera ,Would like to see a standard memory slot...
  • A very nice phone if you are looking for a very stylish device with both a high quality digital camera and MP3 device onboard.

  • Abstract:  Sony Ericsson’s Walkman branded handsets are aimed at the consumer which looks for more of a multimedia experience with their handset than just the usual MP3/media player. It hasn’t been long since the last Walkman handset hit the Australian m...

  • 1GB memory card included, Music sounds great, with bass especially solid, Fun music features like visualisations and light effects
  • Annoying navigation buttons, Song transfer can be a lengthy process
  • The move to a slider form factor has not been without problems, but overall the W850i is another winning Walkman phone. ...

  • Well built, Light effects, Updated Walkman software, TrackID service, A2DP, Sound quality and included headphones.
  • Sunken navigational pad and small controls. The Final Word Sony Ericsson continues to set high standards with their current range and the W850i is no exception. If you can look past the uncomfortable navigational pad, this is an excellent 3G phone.

  • Abstract:  Sliding Walkman From budgeteers to the more sophisticated music handsets, it’s fair to claim Sony Ericsson has yet to launch a duffer in its Walkman phone range. The new 3G-skating W850i is the next member hoping to maintain the manufacturer’s...

  • Abstract:  Ashley and I take a look at the new Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson, with an unprecedented low level of excitement. All that Blu-ray malarky must have tired us out. Its available now from the usual suspects, with prices varying on contract. Check out...

  • Large colour screen; 3G connectivity; stereo Bluetooth; expandable Memory Stick Duo Pro slot with 1GB included; 3.5mm adapter; variety of fun and useful pre-installed applications
  • Lack of autofocus and xenon flash on the camera; inability to end calls by sliding the phone shut; lack of space at the top row of keys on the keypad
  • The W850i Walkman phone brings together some of the best features from Sony Ericssons vast portfolio of great phones. It has the same large, colour screen as the K800i and 3G connectivity, and most importantly, music sounds great. There are some smal...
