  • Great design, Good Stamina, Nice camera setup
  • No NFC, No water of dust protection, Screen is dull
  • Xiaomi seems to have cornered the market when it comes to low-cost phones, and you'd think there was a limit to how many it could have on shelves at any one time. However, the Redmi 6 is a fine purchase, despite the competition not only from other Chinese...

  • Abstract:  We're defining a mid-range range phone as one that costs between £200 (the higher limit of our budget phones chart ) and £400. This price criteria means that our list includes new phones that fit the price bracket, but also flagships from the past year o...

  • Honestly, it's tough to find fault with the Xiaomi Mi 6. At £450, it would be a nailed on five-star performer. Given you can import one from Gearbest for a very tempting £340, that five-star rating is gold plated.See relatedOnePlus 5 review: The flagship...

  • Significantly cheaper than other flagships, Speedy performer, Fantastic camera
  • Lacks 3.5mm headphone jack
  • You might struggle to pronounce it, but stray from the usual big hitters and you’ll find a well-priced smartphone in Xiaomi’s Mi 6...

  • Lovely display, Affordable, Lots of power and storage
  • Needs to be imported, Software needs work, No headphone jack
  • Xiaomi Mi 6 – Software There's a lot to like about Xiaomi's latest flagship, but the software still stands out as being one of the weaker points. Like many skins from Chinese manufacturers, MIUI changes too much of Android 7.1.1, to the point where it doe...

  • Premium materials and top-of-the-line hardware means it's a flagship phone that competes with the Galaxy S8 and iPhone 7
  • The dual-camera setup isn't very good and the phone's glass back is great to look at but can be slippery to hold. It's only available in one country for now
  • Xiaomi's Mi 6 could do some real damage if the company sold it more places. Too bad for us...

  • This really is an amazing phone, and only the Chinese software puts us off recommending it for a UK audience. It is crazy fast, crazy beautiful and crazy priced. If you know your way around Android go and get one, and you won't be disappointed.>> Read on...
