  • The R9 Fury Nitro is a very impressive graphics card in alot of areas, it is an absolute powerhouse at 1080p gaming and at 4k it gives a good experience but personally i think this card is best suited for 1440p with a nice high refresh rate monitor mainly...

  • Top-notch performance, Cool and quiet, Beautiful, sturdy design
  • Fat and long, Consumes a lot of power, Only 4GB of RAM
  • Sapphire's impeccably designed Nitro R9 Fury will handle high-end games without breaking a sweat or raising its proverbial voice...

  • Choosing the right component can be a a bit confusing. For those on a budget questions like “bang for buck” and “best for this” seem to come up quite often. For the hardware enthusiast cost is usually not a deciding factor but comes into play later in the...

  • Abstract:  About six months ago the cut down variant of the Fiji based GPU known as Fiji Pro was unleashed to the world. Known as Fiji Pro and packing 3584 stream processors along with 4gb of HBM on a 512bit bus we saw limited launch with only two graphics cards, on...

  • 3-year warranty, Durable backplate, Excellent power delivery, Exceptionally quiet, Great performance especially at higher resolutions, Impressive temperatures, Neutral colour scheme, Premium build quality, Significantly cheaper than the Fury X and 980 Ti,
  • R9 Nano offers compelling value compared to the Fury, “The Sapphire Nitro OC R9 Fury is a great alternative to the Fury X and offers similar performance at a lower price point. Furthermore, the impressive Tri-X cooling is capable of taming the GPU’s core
  • PriceAt the time of writing, the Sapphire Nitro OC R9 Fury is available from Overclockers UK for £439.99. This is a good value proposition when you take into account the Fury X typically costs £499.99. On the other hand, a recent promotion dramatically cu...

  • Back when we tested the Tri-X version of Sapphires Fury card we found it to be an impressive card, running quiet but offering excellent performance at higher resolutions. With the Nitro version build quality has received a bump, as has the GPU speed and t...

  • Built like a tank, Silent at low loads, Well suited to ultra-high-res gaming, Best non-Fury X going
  • Stock-clocked memory, Massive size
  • Sapphire comes to the Fury table now armed with a Nitro-series card offering a bump in core frequency and fully-custom PCB for around £430.That outlay puts it bang in the middle of the GeForce GTX 980 and GeForce GTX 980 Ti. Sapphire's performance, co...

  • very quiet under load, no coil whine, overclocks well, backplate helps remove hot spots, good Ultra HD 4K performance, some extra core headroom available
  • waiting on a price drop, which is imminent, memory overclocking is still problematic.
  • My opinion of the Fury hardware has held steady since July 2015 – AMD's move to a new high bandwidth architecture has to be applauded and there are definitely benefits to be seen when gaming at Ultra HD 4K. Driver development has helped improve performanc...

  • Abstract:  The Fury is AMD's series of top-notch high-end performance graphic cards, and Sapphire's version of the R9 Fury is bang on buck. Needless to say, it is well equipped to handle anything you throw at it without breaking a sweat. Take a look at these specs t...
