  • Flexible, Affordable RAID 5 solution, Perfect for the digitalized home
  • Software could be improved
  • It has become fairly characteristic of our storage oriented reviews to at the end, be left with a mound of data and a fair bit of juggling between features, price and feasibility. Thankfully, given our past history of Thecus products along with NAS opt...

  • The N3200Pro turns in very respectable times for its data transfer rates – however- you should bear in mind that transferring a single, large, file will always yield better results than sending the same amount of data (in this case, 1GB) broken up...

  • Simple setup, Easy to use, Full of features, Well made, Quiet operation
  • Cost is high, Webcam compatibility is lacking
  • The Thecus N3200Pro includes a plethora of features that anyone can appreciate, it is hands-down one of the most useful storage appliances on the market today. The N3200Pro is also very easy to use and setup, it will allow you to be up and running in ...

  • The Thecus N3200PRO is the NAS box that is supposed to bring RAID5 to the home. It has a large number of features the home user would want, including a large selection of media services, and home-oriented media servers. Thecus has tried to make setup...

  • Improved performance over original model, Easy setup, RAID 5, Useful features for a home environment, Quiet, stable operation, Can be used as a wireless access point with optional dongle, Simple web interface, Detailed manual available online
  • Cost of NAS plus hard drives can become expensive, USB copy function is limited
  • Thecus took a great NAS and made it even better with the N3200 Pro. It's difficult to tell it apart from the original N3200 just by looking at it, because underneath the hood is where all the upgrades have taken place. During testing, RAID 5 build ti...

  • Excellent overall performance, ISO Mount feature, Tool less hard drive installation, Drive hot swapping, RAID 1 hot spare, S.M.A.R.T. reporting capability, eSATA support, RAID 5 support in a home NAS server, Performance vs. price point...
  • Documentation lacking details, some features not documented, No quota system, Cant assign permissions to subfolders, No support for single drive volumes...
  • RAID 5 Comes Home. Thats what it says on the box and it sums up a lot of whats great about the N3200PRO – a three-bay network attached storage server for the home user that features RAID 5. The unit occupies a nice niche between lower powered 2-bay...
