850-900 MB/sec reads and writes in RAID 5. Low fan noise. Simple operation
Enterprise drives. Relatively short (two-year) warranty for pro gear, What it costs you: $3,599 for 24 TB, $4,599 for 32 TB, Platforms: Mac with Thunderbolt 1 or 2 port (Windows certification to come)

The reviewed R8 model dismounts when the host computer goes into sleep mode and requires to be repowered to get connected again. It's also very expensive.
While it's massive overkill and cost-prohibitive for most general consumers, the Promise Pegasus2 is a great storage device for professionals, especially those who need to edit 4K videos in real time.
