  • G.Skill constantly keeps me amazed with the incredible products they put out. Visiting any large forum you will see some very impressive numbers featuring G.Skill product. This kit here may not hit 2400 MHz at CAS 10, but it did achieve 2240 MHz witho...

  • G.Skill has produced memory for over 20 years now. In a very competitive industry they continue the trend of manufacturing great looking memory modules with this 16G/2133MHz RipjawsZ series. The theme and design changes from the RipjawsX series is now ...

  • Default speed of 2133MHz, XMP v1.3 profile, Lifetime warranty, Small heatspreaders, Overclocking headroom
  • Requires 1.65V to operate at 2133MHz
  • Once again G.Skill gives us another quality memory kit. Starting with build quality and aesthetics the RipjawsZ kit looks great. The black heatspreaders are pretty heavy and give a pretty solid feel to the modules. They also look great and are not t...

  • High Speed Memory Modules, Solid Heatspreader, Sandy Bridge E Specific Memory, Well Matched Modules (CL9 x 16GB)
  • Not able to adjust timings at speed, Higher Latency
  • When building a high performance system the components you choose can often be a limiting factor either in price or performance. Luckily memory manufactures have gotten really good at creating specialized memory kits so you can unleash the Ninja within. I...

  • When I received the Gskill 2133C9 RipjawsZ kit , I wasn't too overwhelmed by it's rated out of the box specifications. Felt more like a déja vu. Secondly testing with some X79 boards and their mediocre performing biosses wasn't a fun ride at all. Luck...

  • The quad channel memory controller produces tons of memory bandwidth, more so that can be utilized in real world testing. However the point of today's exercise was to see if the G.Skill memory was a good pair for the X79 platform and we can definitely say...

  • Fully working XMP v1.3 profile for X79, Low price considering total size of 16 GB, and the default speed of 2133 MHz, Fantastic overclockability combined with lots of flexibility for timing adjustment at lower speeds, Short heatspeader size for maximum co
  • Requires 1.65 V for 2133 MHz, while there are several other kits on the market that only require 1.5 V with similar performance, 2133 MHz operation only certified for X79, with 2000 MHz/1866 MHz for other platforms, Only available in blue/black, which wil
  • We spent well over a month playing with the G.Skill Ripjaws Z F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH kit. We tried all existing current platforms, including AM3+, FM1, SKT 1155, and when it was released, the Intel X79 Express platform, it was intended for. We had no issu...

  • Aluminum heatspreaders look nice while keeping the modules cool, Awesome performance benefit, High Speed XMP profile, Lifetime warranty, Very solid build quality, Excelelnt price/performance ratio
  • Tall heatsinks with the LGA2011 2 sided DIMM mounting means higher probablility of cooler interference

  • G.Skill has a strong kit here for sure. It is perfectly stable at stock as should be expected. It even overclocks pretty well; better than expected for such a large kit. Good overclocking is to be expected from G.Skill though. You'll need a stellar IMC,...
