  • Earth Friendly (Yay), Performance, Size, The Slidy Thing, Great Software Included
  • Choking Hazard (joke) None!
  • Overall the ATP EarthDrive USB Flash Drive is awesome. It is a very decent price and you don’t get that nasty guilty feeling for ruining the earth. Pollution equals bad I am told. For purely selfish reasons I would actually use this because it perfo...

  • Abstract:  The sheer number of USB drives on the market today can most certainly make your head spin, offering just about anything under the sun to suit your needs, from rugged to tiny, flashy to even just downright weird. But one thing we haven’t seen until now...

  • Fully recyclable, Good performance, Small size, Sturdy build quality, waterproof
  • Low availability in North America
  • Often, when a product is marketed for a certain special feature, it suffers in other aspects. The ATP EarthDrive is not one of those products. In addition to being the worlds first recyclable USB drive, it also performs well. With read speeds just shy...

  • Small Form Factor, Biodegradable and “Earth Friendly”, Great Sliding Mechanism, Supports Bootable Linux Installation, Survived aliencam’s Chop Shop
  • LED Too Bright, Glossy Finish Gets Scratched, Conclusion, I very much liked this flash drive. It is small enough to not be a bother if you carry it everywhere, and rugged enough to survive most accidents (functionally survive, not aesthetically). The driv...

  • Abstract:  The read performance of the ATP EarthDrive and ToughDrive were about the same at 27MB/s, which is ahead of where the Corsair Flash Voyager GT had performed. With the ToughDrive, while it performed faster than the Flash Voyager GT, the USB cap on this ...

  • Quick transfers from the drive, Very small and portable, Waterproof, Well made, Biodegradable / recyclable
  • Slow write speeds
  • The ATP EarthDrive is the first USB drive to be green, and not in color of course, in theme, it’s made of biodegradable materials to make sure it can be recycled when it’s life cycle is complete. It’s also fairly fast, well made, waterpr...

  • Very small USB drive, Waterproof, Fast read speed, Some of the profits go to American Forests
  • Slow write speed
  • If you want to feel green the ATP EarthDrive may appeal to you, the drive is available in capacities from 1GB to 8GB, its waterproof and very small. The housing of the EarthDrive is made from biodegradable plastics and a portion of the profits will go...

  • Abstract:  Imagine this in the near future: while separating the bottles and cans from paper products in the recycling bin, we may also need to set aside some old flash drives. That, at least, is part of the goal put forth by memory manufacturer ATP, which sells ...

  • The ATP EarthDrive performed above and beyond our expectations. With the environment as crazy as it is, Im glad to see a company combining performance with a "Green" conscience. Sporting an average read speed of 30MB/sec, we see some of the best flas...

  • Abstract:  Overall then, whether these particular offerings will interest you depends largely on your own requirements for a USB flash drive, but if either the ToughDrive or EarthDrive catches your eye then you can expect a solid, dependable and fast piece of hardware, which is all you can ask of any flash drive really.
