  • Easy to use, tons of future, exceptionally fast 5 GHz. throughput,
  • Expensive, lackluster 2.4 GHz. throughput
  • All in all, it is hard to recommend the Talon. If you are going to spend this much on a router, you would be much better served by the Asus RT-AC88U which outperformed the Talon in almost every metric and costs less...

  • TP-Link AD7200 Wireless Wi-Fi Tri-Band Gigabit Router (Talon AD7200)Price: $349.99‹ ›For all of the excitement of 802.11ad support, the TP-Link Talon AD7200 is a sheep in wolf's clothing. Sure, if you're able to find a supporting AD7200 wireless client, y...

  • The Talon AD7200 features 802.11ad Wi-Fi and can deliver extremely fast speed to devices that support its high-end tech. It works with all current devices albeit at a lower speed
  • It's bulky and expensive. Currently there are few devices that can take advantage of its super-fast speed
  • For the small percentage of you with 802.11ad clients in your home, the Talon AD7200 is a good futureproofing purchase, but is otherwise not worth your money...

  • Supports 802,11ad protocol, MU-MIMO capable, Superb close-range, and excellent overall performance in testing, Many features
  • Expensive, Large footprint, There are few 802,11ad clients at this writing
  • The TP-Link Talon AD7200 Multi-Band is the first 802.11ad router to hit the market, and it positively screams delivering close to 1Gbps throughput...

  • 11ad works and is easy to use
  • 11ad doesn't reach advertised maximum link rate, Router architecture limits 11ad throughput, 11ad limited to inroom use (lineofsight)
  • AC2600 class router with Gigabit Ethernet ports and USB 3.0 storage and printer sharing with 802.11ad 60 GHz band radio...

  • The Nighthawk X10 is one beast of a router. NETGEAR has pulled out everything they had and put it into one device that can download, stream, and store your data. They gathered up and support some of the richest features I have seen in a router including...

  • The TP-Link Talon while offering a full on AC2600 setup underneath, the 802.11ad part is a niche solution if I'm honest. That's not to say I didn't like the router or had any issues with it in testing. Build quality is right with the C5400 offering quali...

  • The TP-Link Talon AD7200 is a look into the future of wireless bandwidth and transfer speeds. Of course we are not even close to the advertised speed of 4600 Mbps, but a wireless bandwidth of about 1 Gbps is still extremely impressive. This is the first t...
