  • The biggest problem with the Samsung ML-1665 could also be considered one of its selling points: it is a single function monochrome laser printer priced under $100 ($79.99). This printer is targeted at a small market: a home or single person office in ...

  • Abstract:  If you are a small office / home office (SOHO) with lots of printing to do, a laser printer is usually the way to go, saving you on spending too much on ink and toners. A laser printer is, however, relatively bulky compared to an inkjet printer. B...

  • Incredibly small, Great for students & home use!, No performance complaints (performs just like it's much larger counterparts), Great price (around $95CDN)
  • Absence of networking capabilities, Does the toner have to be only $20 cheaper than the printer?
  • The Samsung ML-1665 is the perfect laser printer for those who don't want the cost associated with an inkjet printer, or the investment of a colour laser printer. It's the perfect size for students and dorm rooms, and a fraction the size of a most lase...

  • Samsung claims a top speed of 16ppm and we reached 14.8ppm on our 20 page text print and a rather more sluggish 9.1ppm for the text and graphics document. The single, 1,500-page drum and toner cartridge gives a running cost of 4.0p per page, which sit...

  • The Samsung ML-1665 is a good little printer, fast and quiet and excellent value for money at under £80! Good for home or small-business use where you are perhaps printing rather infrequently or low volumes. It's hard to see the downside with this one!I...

  • Abstract:  This is said to be the world’s smallest A4 laser printer, certainly I have not looked at a smaller one. However it is a 16PPM mono offering that works with later versions of Windows without even having to install any software....

  • The ML-1665 isn't designed for heavy printing but it's cheap and compact, with good print quality, making it a good option if you're looking for a personal laser printer. ...

  • Good value for money; dinky dimensions; sharp black text; speedy printing
  • Lack of any advanced features; low paper capacity; slight ghosting on draft-quality graphics
  • Samsung's entry-level ML-1665 is a printer stripped to its bare bones. Fortunately, those bones are worth every penny. It offers clean and speedy monochrome prints of text and graphics, and it's also tiny, so you can tuck it away pretty much anywhere ...

  • Pluses, Very compact design, Fast, quiet, low power consumption, Very good quality for 600 dpi, Clever, practical, simple and economical One Touch printing functions, First page prints in 9 sec (from Ready mode) / Continuous printing at 16 ppm
  • Minuses, Only a USB connection, Ships with 700page starter cartridge, Slower printing from standby (compared with Ready mode), At 1200 dpi, the results would look a bit less blocky but it would also push up price, Relatively high cost per page for a laser printer (3.13 p)
