  • Abstract:  Of all of the current generation consoles, the PlayStation 2 has held on the longest, which is quite a feat since it was also first. Microsoft has all but abandoned the Xbox with the release of the 360, and the Nintendo has thrown itself behind the Wii an...

  • Great graphics and some innovative, accessible gameplay could have made this a hit with an audience normally frightened off by RPGs. If only the core characters and the story had a stronger appeal....

  • With the next gen systems already out, its nice to see that the PS2 is still getting some good titles for those of us who just cannot cough up the six hundred dollars that Sony is asking us to fork over for a PS3. Rogue Galaxy is an RPG made for trad...

  • Stellar gameplay; fun combat; a compelling (albeit familiar) story; and enough content to keep you playing for at least a hundred hours.
  • Lots of Mimics make opening treasure chests hazardous; real-time combat is a blast, but may be daunting for some RPG players who prefer turn based battles.
  • Rogue Galaxy is an excellent example of what an RPG should be. This is easily the best game of 2007 so far.

  • Abstract:  The legendary Dorgenark is quick, tough and quirky – just like the Millennium FalconJust one of the spectacular attacks that you get to unleashOne of the critical elements of role-playing games is the story and Rogue Galaxy is, mostly, a pretty acco...

  • Abstract:  Space Pirates, as you might suspect, are pretty awesome. Playable Space Pirates in an action RPG are even better. Enter Rogue Galaxy, the newest RPG from fan favorite team Level 5, the makers of Dark Cloud 2 who also had a hand in the development of Dr...

  • Abstract:  Most of you are still probably fighting your way through the world of Ivalice, but some of us have already climbed to the top of that particular mountain. Although the memories of our time with Square-Enixs latest opus is still fresh in my mind, the n...

  • Immense amount of content outside of the core mission; varied gameplay, all of which is fun; beautiful cel-shading and presentation.
  • Story is so-so; characters dont have much depth either; framerate issues occasionally.
  • Rogue Galaxy puts you in charge of initially one, but eventually eight, oddballs, grifters, and scoundrels in a futuristic space setting, one envisioned with an eye for drama and splashy effects, not a cold eye on the "science" of "science fiction." It...

  • Abstract:  SCEA An Ocean of Stars, A Ship of FoolsSometimes its reassuring to know that there is still hope with the videogame industry. In an era of big businesses eating up more and more of the market, gamers watch as ambitious programmers and talented tech...
