  • Abstract:  Owning a virtual pet is a great idea, as you avoid having to clean up messes while still teaching kids traditional values. Some games are better than others though, and EyePet was too much of a one-trick pony for the PlayStation Move. There is plenty ...

  • If I could walk with the animals, talk with the animals, then I wouldn't need to play Kinectimals - but since this is not the case, we're just going to have to make do. Kinectimals has a rather misleading name, in that you don't actually have that big ...

  • Abstract:  My fate was sealed during Microsoft's press conference during E3 2010; when an adorable little girl played with her pet tiger "Skittles" during a demonstration of Kinectimals, someone leaned over to me and quipped, "You have a kid; you're probably goin...

  • Abstract:  They're so cute! Unless your heart is made of the blackest coal from the darkest depths of the Earth, those are likely to be the very first words that leap forth from your lips when you turn on Kinectimals. The next words will probably be, "ew, what is...

  • Abstract:  Few games are as flat-out endearing as Kinectimals. This pet simulator and minigame collection is clearly meant for a younger crowd, and that audience will fall head over heels for the wide-eyed wildcat cubs that romp around with you as you move from o...

  • The animals are absolutely adorable, Some minigames use the Kinect hardware in clever ways, Beautiful and sunny presentation, Decorating your hut has a pleasant dollhouse appeal.
  • Too many minigames involve throwing one object at another, Some activities aren't responsive, The cartoony guide feels out of place.
  • The minigames are shallow and repetitive, but Kinectimals is too lovable to stay mad at for long....

  • When Kinectimals was at its best I genuinely enjoyed what I played. I actually got excited when I found a Serval cub and got to adopt him. And I've said "Aaaw look! Cute!" more times in the past week than I will probably ever say again for the rest of ...

  • Abstract:  Just Nintendogs which was the world's first "decent" pet simulator game, Microsoft have upped the ante by releasing one of the world's most realistic pet simulators available on any console called Kinectimals. What makes Kinectimals so appealing is tha...

  • Abstract:  Help me! I’m drowning in cute! That’s how I felt playing Kinectimals more or less the entire time. But because I’m a professional amateur reviewer, I’ll put that aside and focus on how good this game is and — more importantly — whether its target audien...
