The single-player campaign in GRID is definitely worth a test drive. Multiplayer has its moments, but you could skip over it without missing much. If you have high blood pressure or a short temper, I would probably recommend steering clear of this part...
Abstract: After watching another tour de force performance from one of my favorite Hollywood actors, I was presented with a disarming epiphany: GRID is the Nicole Kidman of racing games. I didn’t believe it at first either. But with GRID’s fine-lined features, w...
Fantastic return to making racing games fun and accessable; amazing visual and audio presentation; oozes style.
GT cars are spaztic; funky in-garage car visuals; lack of customization may turn off hardcore sim fans.
A fantastic game that bridges the gap of arcade and sim styles of the racing genre. It spotlights, and focuses on, what makes racing games fun, racing!
Abstract: The visuals in Grid are undeniably one of the highlights of the game. Codemasters has taken the Neon graphics engine used in DiRT and tweaked it up a few notches. Of course they have renamed it too as it is now called the Ego engine. As funny as the te...

Great visuals deliver super sense of speed; nasty crashes; cars show and react to damage.
May be too sim for arcade fans and too arcade for sim fans; learning curve can be tough; limited number of cars.
Ever have that anxiety dream about being behind the wheel of a car thats going too fast for you to control? Theres the screech of brakes and then a horrific metal-twisting encounter with a wall, barrier, or other car and you sit bolt upright in bed w...
Forget the underdog tag; this time Codemasters has created one of the finest road racers of a console generation. New features like Flashbacks deserve to become standards, and the visual excellence and richness and variety of the racing make for an except...
