  • Well-balanced sound. Capable of going loud without distortion
  • Small, fiddly remote. CD database out of date

  • Surprisingly good sound, Impressive feature list, Excellent convenience of use, Exceptionally modest space requirements
  • Inadequate capacity, There’s some lack of insight and detail in the sound

  • This is a true 21st Century hi-fi component. It sounds great, has a good level of digital convenience and also has a knowingly retro, but somehow modern look at the same time. The optional speakers do a really good job, but we get the distinct impress...

  • Fairly easy to use; decent sound quality
  • Price; slow to rip CDs; small hard disk options; useless at sorting imported MP3s You might also need: Speakers
  • A very expensive piece of kit and not without a list of issues. But for simplicity and dedication to one simple function -- storing and playing your music collection -- its a perfectly fine product
