  • We loved the Nike + iPod Sensor system and found it helpful as both a motivational tool and an aid to track progress. If you’re serious about getting fit and are quite happy on splashing out on some new trainers, the Nike + iPod Sensor is for you. ...

  • Abstract:  If you are a runner with an iPod Nano, the Nike + iPod Sport Kit is about to make your exercise much more enjoyable. Just put a wireless sensor in your shoe, add easy-to-use software on your iPod and it will tell you how many calories you are burning, ...

  • Works great. Highly motivating. Rich Web site. Multiple goal and reporting options.
  • PowerSong not easy to activate while running. Music ends when run ends.
  • Even after only 20 miles of running on tracks, beaches, streets, and hills, we were hooked on the Nike + iPod Sport Kit. Sure, it has some minor shortcomings - your chosen music always ends when your run ends, and holding down the selection button to ...

  • Exciting use of technology for exercise Surprisingly accurate measurements Can be used in nearly any running shoe
  • Only available in white Total setup is somewhat spendy
  • Nike and Apple have created an absolutely fantastic product. In fact, they’ve done more than that – they’ve created a means to an exercise revolution. The Nike+iPod Sport Kit is not a diet fad, it’s not a chemical-laced sports drin...

  • A tiny pair of wireless add-ons that turn an iPod nano and a pair of shoes into a miniature personal running or power walking tracker, adding easy-to-use time, distance, and calorie-based workout options to the nano’s existing menus. Impressive ...
  • Accessory is physically compatible only with specific pairs of one company’s sneakers, unless user manually modifies or augments other models. Entire system needs to be replaced when sensor’s battery dies, partially forgivable only becaus...
  • What Apple and Nike have achieved with the Nike+iPod Sport Kit is a nearly unqualified triumph: an expansion of the iPod nano into a digital sport running and walking partner, using add-on technology that works well and is easy enough for anyone to use...

  • Fun to use. Easy to set up. Excellent community features.
  • iPods Select button can be difficult to find by feel, so either buy a Nike + Sport Armband or get an adhesive felt patch for the button. Works only with the nano.
  • With its great community features, the Nike + iPod Sport Kit adds an extra element to running and walking that can actually inspire and motivate you more than simply listening to music and timing yourself....

  • Good workout companion for Nano-using runners; voice feedback; measures useful data such as distance traveled and calories burned; special Nike + shoes are not a requirement; excellent hardware and data integration with Nike + Web site; PowerSong.
  • Pedometer battery is not replaceable so youll eventually need to buy a new Sport Kit; available only for iPod Nano.
  • Maybe its not the reason to buy a Nano, but the useful Nike + iPod Sport Kit and the data-centered Nike+ Web site will appeal to runners who already own a Nano. Price range: $26.99 - $28.99

  • Abstract:  Nike iPod Sport Kit One of the most frustrating things for runners is keeping track of how far they run. While its easy to gauge your distance on a running track, most people prefer to run in more natural environment than within the confines of a 400...

  • Unique integration with iPod, Online data analysis
  • Pedometer must be replaced once battery exhausted The Final Word If you listen to music while you exercise, then why not have some data analysis of your workout to spur you on to greater heights.
