  • Great mood lighting, Easily affixed to a wall, Flexible arrangement
  • Some rare connectivity issues, Can be hard to hide the wiring
  • The LIFX Tile, with its smart presets, consistent connected home integration and wonderfully customizable looks, is the arty way to get smart lighting in your home. Functional and stylish, it shows what's possible when connected tech meets good interior d...

  • Extremely bright and colorful, Easy to mount, Customizable layout, Interactive presets
  • Expensive, Finicky software, LED zones visible
  • As much as I love having the Tiles as a decorative addition to my office, they're not perfect. That Tap functionality is where my problems start. Enabling Tap within the software is extremely finicky; I had to continually enable the setting, then relaunch...

  • Lifx Tiles are plenty bright and perfectly colorful, and unlike the competition, you can paint multiple colors across each one. Integrations with IFTTT, Nest, Alexa, Siri and the Google Assistant make it easy to find a place for them in a larger smart-hom
  • The app's controls for the Tiles are glitchy and underdeveloped, with constant connection quirks marring the experience. If you're a HomeKit user, Siri won't be able to understand your multicolor scenes. You can't connect more than five Tiles to a single
  • Lifx Tiles look great, but the software that powers them is frustrating and unreliable. Hold off for improvements, or just go with Nanoleaf instead...

  • Abstract:  I have had the LIFX Tile for some time now and must confess that I've been having fun with their bulbs - they've made my life a lot simpler. There are five Tiles in the kit. Each Tile contains 64 colour zones. Multiply that by five and you can create some...

  • As with LIFX's Beam kit, you'll probably want to install the Tile kit into a room with predominantly white or off-white walls to avoid it clashing with any existing colour scheme. The kit can be a little fiddly to install neatly, but it is completely tool-...

  • Abstract:  September has been a busy month for smart lighting manufacturer Lifx. First it added Apple HomeKit compatibility to its line of smart LEDs, then it introduced three mini versions of its classic bulbs. Now Lifx is announcing Tile, a Nanoleaf-Aurora-esque...

  • Sfeermaker in huis, Gemakkelijke bediening, Eigen kleurcombinaties maken,
