  • Stylish design, Excellent user interface, Broad file playback from USB and LAN, Bonus Magic Remote, Integrated WiFi and WiDi, Comfortable Passive 3D
  • Poor motion resolution, Crushed blacks with limited shadow detail, Low resolution passive 3D
  • In terms of design, the fashion-forward 47LM670 is a clear winner. Indeed, this line could be the best looking range the brand has delivered yet. The minimized bezel and stylish stand make quite the statement. And when it comes to features, there's not mu...

  • With the 47LM670T, LG has produced arguably the prettiest 3D TV of the year. It also has an excellent internet portal, top-notch file support, and bright, inexpensive 3D. However, image quality lacks finesse. This is a screen for the daytime TV crowd, ...

  •
Ultimately, the 47LM670T is a ravishingly well designed thin-screen with an average HD picture. This won’t stop LG shifting mountains of them. My advice is look further up the Cinema Screen range, where greater picture precision should better complem...

  • Lots and lots of well presented features, Very nice calibrated colour reproduction, Excellent viewing angles, 3D is fabulous, Some very good video processing, Magic Motion remote control
  • Motion artefacting/trailing in 50Hz content, Problems with high contrast scenes with Blu-ray, Mediocre dynamic range and shadow detail, Input lag still too high, Some panel banding/dirty screen effect
  • As this reviewer generally finds with the passive approach, 3D images were fabulously bright, crosstalk and flicker free whilst not losing obvious detail or resolution when viewed from around 8 feet; a distance we'd suggest as sensible for 3D viewing to a...

  • Crisp HD pictures; Bold and vivid colours; Great online features; Stunning design; Good sonics
  • Some detail gets crushed in darker scenes; Standard-definition upscaling could be better
  • The 42-inch LG 42LM670T looks stunning, thanks to its frameless design. It also has excellent Internet and multimedia features, produces great quality pictures and delivers a strong 3D performance. It's not quite as good at teasing out detail in darker...

  • Terrific 2D and 3D picture quality, Stunning design, Excellent multimedia support
  • Not especially cheap for a 42in TV, High input lag, Minor motion blur
  • LG has arguably been the ‘most improved' TV brand for the past couple of years. So it's not actually a great surprise to find that, on the evidence of first the 55LM660T and now the 42LM670T, 2012 appears to be the year where LG has well and truly caught ...

  • Stylish design, Excellent user interface, Broad file playback from USB and LAN, Bonus Magic Remote, Integrated Wi, Fi and WiDi, Comfortable Passive 3D
  • Poor motion resolution, Crushed blacks with limited shadow detail, Low resolution passive 3D
  • The 47LM670T is (literally) a great looking flatscreen. With no apparent bezel when it's turned off, and only a token one when it's on, the screen is a poser of the highest order. And with a glossy new user interface to match, beauty isn't just skin deep...

  • Doesn't sound all that impressive
