  • Excellent black level performance. Very high contrast ratio. Color and contrast maintained up to a 170-degree viewing angle. Good audio quality. Auto-shut-off option when TV is idle. Supports HDMI-CEC.
  • Poor energy efficiency when compared with LCD models. 3 HDMI ports (one is side-mounted). Only Channel and Volume controls are backlit on remote.
  • If top-notch picture quality is more important to you than low energy consumption (and you can't wait for this year's new TV models), Panasonic's 46-inch TC-P46G10 is a no-brainer....

  • The Panasonic TC-P50G10 is not a top-performer. It's special features are rather modest compared to some of the more expensive models. But neither is it an entry-level TV that's guaranteed to underwhelm. The G10 series is somewhere in the middle, wit...

  • Abstract:  No one at Panasonic seemed to care that Pioneer left the plasma TV market. Then again, maybe they did. It would have been easy, perhaps expected, for Panasonic to put out a gussied-up version of their last generation plasma now that the direct picture ...

  • Exhibits deep blacks and precise details in shadows; the colours are bright and vivid; saturation was excellent; power efficient; access to select Internet services is provided by VieraCast; good value for money.
  • Restricted light output in THX mode; lousy pictures controls; less efficient than LCD televisions.
  • The Panasonic is great buy; it is sleek and stylish and offers a good amount of features backed up with an amazing picture quality. It even attempts to be eco-friendly too. The G10 will come in around $1,538- $2,399.99Similar PostsSeptember 12, 2009 -...

  • Amazing black levels similar if not the same as V10 series, Good colors provided in THX mode, Nice extra features such as Viera Cast, Excellent primary color gamut,
  • Some issues encountered in color accuracy, Not for the budget minded customer, Flicker appears in 48Hz mode when viewing 24 frames content
  • Before the appearance of the V10 series (also coming from Panasonic), Panasonic TC-P50G10 rightfully achieved the title of the best plasma TV released in 2009. As the replacement is just its big brother, there may be no complaints here. Plus, the diffe...

  • Mind boggling blacks with tons of detail. THX mode is a godsend for movie buffs. Integrated SD card slots transform your plasma into a giant digital photo frame. Amazing color saturation
  • THX mode is bit dim for brightly lit rooms. Ethernet connectivity is nice for VieraCast, but WiFi would've been better. At the time of testing, no Amazon VOD. Also, where's the Netflix streaming? Staunch calibration DIYers may find the picture controls la
