  • Very low price, Great screen, Has GPS and heart rate sensor, Decent battery life
  • Serious slowdown issues, Recurring disconnects from phone, Problems with charger, No speaker
  • It's not worth it.The Ticwatch E2 runs fluidly some of the time, the screen looks great, and the no-nonsense design is totally solid. It also works well as a fitness tracker, when you want it to. However, it frequently got bogged down during our testing...

  • Great value, decent display, solid fitness tracking abilities,
  • Limited smart functions, so-so battery life
  • If you are an Android user and looking for a simple smartwatch without breaking the bank to tide you over until Wear OS gets a full overhaul, then the TicWatch E2 is a great choice. True, it can't compete with the top-tier offerings from Samsung or Apple...

  • $160 price tag is right on the money, Battery lasts for a full 24 hours of use, Lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear
  • Plain, uninspired design, No NFC for Google Pay, Old chip makes app launching sluggish
  • The Mobvoi Ticwatch E2 isn't perfect but it plenty good enough for Wear OS...

  • MIL-STD 810G durability certification, Surprisingly decent battery life, Standard watch straps
  • Chunky, plasticky build, Mobvoi's fitness software is unnecessary, Wear OS is a Wear Oh Mess

  • More durable and understated design, 5 ATM waterproofing, Improved responsiveness & tracking, Easily lasts 2 days with regular use
  • Noticeably bigger than first-gen TicWatch E, No NFC for contactless payments, No ambient light sensor, no auto-brightness, 2 GB storage doesn't leave room for offline workout music

  • Abstract:  Mobvoi has been positioning the TicWatch brand as the OnePlus of the smartwatch world: premium specs at a mid-range price. Its latest offerings, the TicWatch E2 and the TicWatch S2, continue this mission. We've had the E2 strapped to our wrist for the pas...

  • Includes GPS and heart rate monitor, Lots of functionality for the price,
  • Too big for smaller wrists, Dated Qualcomm 2100 chipset, No NFC
  • Mobvoi's TicWatch E2 smartwatch has a sleek design and smooth performance for a great price, but its large size limits its usability...

  • S2's MIL-STD rating, Swim and surf proof, AI fitness features
  • E2's bland design, No NFC, Average battery life
  • Mobvoi's second generation "Express" and "Sport" smartwatches return with mixed results. The retooled E2 fails to impress with uninspired design and missing features, while the fitness-focused S2 blazes a trail for durable Wear OS smartwatches...

  • I mentioned in the introduction that the TicWatch E2 is very much focused on the budget conscious user, currently on the Mobvoi Website at $238.99AU which for what you're getting is quite the steal. What's really impressive about the E2 is the consistent...

  • If you want to make payments with your watch, then you should spend your money elsewhere. There are loads of Wear OS watches with NFC chips on board, including the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro, which has all of the same features as the E2.Christopher Hebert/IDGThe...
