The machine still isn't foolproof, so you might infect your beer if you don't have any homebrewing experience. The Model C won't teach you to homebrew and it's much more complicated than a push button machine like a Keurig

Less expensive than the Pico Pro, Brew keg and step filter are easy to clean, The marketplace keeps adding new PicoPaks, It's hard to mess up, as long as you follow directions
