  • When it comes down to buying a new headset, the Explorer 395 is a great choice for a couple of reasons. First, it retains the Plantronics brand-name and it retails for just $49, making it one of the company’s most affordable headsets. Those who shop a...

  • Abstract:  We’ve been impressed with Plantronics last few Bluetooth headsets, finding the company’s DSP offers a decent balance of background noise reduction while not making callers sound hopelessly artificial. What happens when Plantronics tries to do DSP on a ...

  • Comfortable. Clear sound. Simple, reliable control scheme. Good value.
  • Ineffective noise canceling. One-size-fits-all design. Can't pair with more than one device simultaneously.
  • The Plantronics Explorer 395 offers well-balanced sound quality and a comfortable, easy-to-use design, but get something better if you need good noise suppression....

  • The Plantronics Explorer 395 is a comfortable and easy-to-use Bluetooth headset with a dedicated power switch and an affordable price
  • We wish the Plantronics Explorer 395 came with extra earbud sizes. It doesn't have very good noise-canceling features
  • The Plantronics Explorer 395 is a great entry-level Bluetooth headset, as long as you stick to quieter environments.

  • Good build qualityStylish designAffordable
  • No noise cancellationFixed earbud and ear loopCheap packaging
  • The Explorer 395 may not be the most exciting product coming out of Plantronics, but it's always nice to have a more affordable option for those who are happy with "good enough" performance. Also, this headset's appearance doesn't really reflect its budge...

  • A sliding power on/off switch! Good voice clarity in quiet environments.
  • Sliding power switch "red for off" is a little confusing. DSP noise reduction and wind resistance not the greatest, but not surprising at this price. Glossy finish picks up grime.

  • While it doesn't offer the audio quality you get with more expensive technology, the Plantronics Explorer 395 is comfortable to wear, simple to use and offers reasonable-quality audio for half the price of more feature-laden competitors. Barbara Kras...

  • Abstract:  Today Plantronics announced the Explorer 395, a Bluetooth headset that Plantronics says is perfect for first-time Bluetooth users. I tested out the 395 a bit over the past few days and tend to agree with the company. The Explorer 395 comes equipped wi...
