  • Abstract:  Take the culture that social media sites have created, and there seems a general consensus with soft, blurry, noisy photos from your smartphone that only look good viewed on a small screen. Which brings us to the Q at hand. Why something like the Panasoni...

  • Extremely sharp image (50p), Good sensitivity, 29.8 mm wideangle lens (in 35 mm equivalent), Good stabiliser, Mic and headphone jacks, Viewfinder, Focus ring, Excellent LCD screen (with 3D mode), 5.1 microphone
  • Viewfinder is nonswivelling and the hole is small, Plastic finishing a bit "chintzy" for the price
  • With 50p resolution, a wide-angle lens and a superb LCD screen, the Panasonic HC-X900 has remarkable advantages, including an exceptionally sharp image. It has all the makings of a high-end camcorder; the only thing missing is finer materials on the bo...

  • The size and shape of the Panasonic HC-X900 make it a great camcorder for carrying around and shooting on the fly. It’s easy to hold, which always helps when trying to record. One of the coolest things about the Panasonic HC-X900 is its ability to shoot in 3D, although you will need an attachment to do so. Image stabilisation is very impressive, even when zooming. It means video will stay steady
  • Compared to the best camcorders on the market colours appear slightly washed out. Pictures tend to suffer from unwanted noise and lack the depth and definition of pricier counterparts, and subjects can appear overexposed. Performance is still very credible indeed, but not quite the best. As mentioned it is unfortunate that you’ll need to spend extra to shoot in 3D. The same can be said for much o
  • The Panasonic HC-X900 is a decent camcorder, but it just about fails to live up to the standards set by its more illustrious counterparts. Performance is good, just not amazing in testing. Panasonic HC-X900 is tagged with Panasonic, HC-X900, review, c...

  • The HC-X900 produces beautifully detailed video that's at least as sharp as the competition. It has all the features enthusiasts demand, including a rear viewfinder: a rare sighting on a camcorder these days. There's not enough here to warrant an upgra...

  • Abstract:  The HC-X900M is the replacement for last year's HDC-TM900 flagship HD camcorder from Panasonic, but if you're looking for hot new features or exciting updates then you should prepare to be disappointed. Other than a few design alterations and some slight ...

  • Excellent image quality, Lens focus ring, Comprehensive manual controls
  • Optional 3D not as fully featured as dedicated 3D camcorders
  • The last few generations of high-end camcorder from Panasonic have been hard to beat. The HDC-TM900 and HDC-TM700 offered powerful combinations of great image quality and comprehensive features. The HC-X900 continues that tradition, and just about edges o...
