On first impressions, the Sony PJ30 projector camcorder looks just like any other compact camcorder. Look a little closer, and you'll see the pico projector integrated into the viewfinder lid. It's small, neatly done and doesn't add any bulk to the device at all. You'll be able to shoot 1080p video at 50fps, with the ability to shoot up to 32GB of footage. Performance is good, but not exceptional
The only real downside, is that the viewfinder switches off when projecting, so you'll have to control the camera using a remote control – it's all a bit fiddly. The Sony PJ30 projector camcorder is also expensive.
