  • Excellent build quality, Compact and light, Excellent image quality, better than upsampling, Supports autofocus (SDM and screw drive) with little or no performance degradation, Correct focal length (1.4x value set on lens) communicated to camera so shake
  • View finder autofocus (phase detect) is unreliable with lenses slower than F4 (live view should be used instead), Incorrect aperture in EXIF with Aseries lenses, Focal length not multplied on older DSLRs, Magnifies optical lens flaws, Relatively expensive
