Abstract: Aimed at beginners on a budget, this lightweight (0.51kg) aluminium monopod comes with a fold-out foot stand for added stability. Sadly, it’s pretty cheap and cheerful – the foam grip came loose and the removable top plate was difficult to tighten securely. Plus, it only extends to 145cm, which is fine as long as you’re about 5ft 4in!
