  • Solid build quality; excellent, easy-to-use interface; manual exposure controls included
  • Very slow write-to-card times; no rechargeable battery included; noisy images above ISO 200
  • For those who want a point-and-shoot digital camera with advanced features, the affordable Kodak EasyShare Z812 IS super-zoom has much to like—if you can overlook slow write times and noisy images at higher ISOs. ...

  • Price, excellent image quality, firstrate zoom, superb usability, and compact size,
  • No rechargeable battery or battery charger included, noise reduction is too aggressive, jog dial is too easily accessed by accident, no custom/manual white balance mode,
  • Consumers buy mega-zoom digicams because they want a camera that provides most of the benefits of a Digital SLR without the bulk and expense of a modular imaging system, but there are currently so many worthy options that it’s very difficult to choose....

  • High performance stabilization, Nice images up until 400 ISO, Very fast autofocus, Solid construction, HD photo mode
  • Disappointing HD video mode, No true wide angle, Significant smoothing starting at 400 ISO, Only a 12 cm macro mode, Doesn’t come with rechargeable batteries
